Comparison

nBlickvsSemrush

Germán Chiesa DocampoGermán Chiesa Docampo, Co-Founder nBlick

Here is the fastest way to decide between these two.

Semrush's AI Visibility Toolkit covers six regions: the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Spain and India. If you sell in Mexico, Argentina, Colombia or Chile, it cannot see your market. Not partially. At all.

nBlick was built by an Argentine team for exactly those markets. We track ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude, in Spanish, and we write the content to improve what they say about you. Plans start at $19 a month with a free tier that never expires.

If you sell only in the six regions Semrush covers, and you already pay for their SEO suite, their AI toolkit is a reasonable add-on. This page explains where each tool fits.

What nBlick does

nBlick is a standalone AI visibility platform. You do not need another subscription underneath it.

  • Starts from your buyer, not a keyword list. We build a profile of your ideal customer, then work out the questions that person actually types into ChatGPT. You are not guessing which prompts to track.
  • Tracks four engines on every paid plan: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude.
  • Writes the content too. You find the gap and generate the page in the same place. No second tool.
  • Runs the loop for you. An agent handles tracking, diagnosis and content fixes.
  • Built for Spanish-language markets, interface and support included.
  • One flat price. $19 a month for Studio, $229 for Growth. No suite subscription, no charge per seat.
  • A free plan that does not expire and needs no credit card.

What the Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit does

Semrush has been an SEO platform since 2008. The AI Visibility Toolkit is a module they added on top of it.

  • Tracks your brand in AI answers using a shared database of 239 to 260 million prompts
  • Two separate modules: a Global Index and custom prompt tracking
  • Sits inside a full SEO suite with keyword research, backlinks, site audits and PPC tools
  • Costs $99 a month per domain, on top of an SEO subscription
  • SOC 2 certified

Both tools measure AI visibility. One is a specialist. The other is a tab inside a much larger product.

The Latin America gap

This is the part that matters most if you sell in Spanish.

Semrush's AI module tracks six regions. Spain is the only Spanish-speaking one on the list. There is no Mexico, no Argentina, no Colombia, no Chile, no Peru.

That is not a small limitation you work around. AI answers change by country. A buyer in Mexico City and a buyer in Madrid ask the same question in the same language and get different brands recommended back. If your tool only looks at Spain, you are reading someone else's market and calling it yours.

It also happens to be the market where AI recommendations carry the most weight. According to Morning Consult's AI Trust Report 2026, net trust in ChatGPT is 43.2 in Argentina against 18.0 in the United States. Across South America it averages 51.1, compared with 20.3 in Europe. People here act on what the model says about twice as often as buyers in the US do.

So the region where AI visibility does the most for your pipeline is the region Semrush's AI module does not cover.

nBlick covers it, in Spanish, with support in Spanish.

Engines: Claude is missing

Semrush does not track Claude on any plan.

Coverage beyond that is hard to pin down because it keeps changing and sources disagree. Siftly reported roughly three to four engines in June 2026, with no Claude, Copilot, Grok or DeepSeek, and Gemini and Perplexity still rolling out. Peec's January 2026 testing found custom prompt tracking limited to ChatGPT and Google AI Mode. Zapier listed ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini and Perplexity in November 2025.

The one thing every source agrees on is the absence of Claude. Claude is where a large share of technical and B2B buyers do their research. nBlick tracks it on every paid plan, alongside ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.

Engine coverage moves fast in this category. Check the current list with both vendors before you buy.

What Semrush actually costs

The $99 per month figure is real, but it is not the whole bill.

ItemPrice
AI Visibility Toolkit$99/mo per domain
Semrush Pro (the SEO suite)$139.95/mo
Semrush Guru$249.95/mo
Semrush One (bundle)roughly $165 to $199/mo
Extra team memberscharged per seat

The toolkit is an add-on. It assumes you already pay for the suite. A team that wants both AI visibility and SEO lands at around $239 a month or more. Siftly in June 2026 and Nick Lafferty in July 2026 arrived at that same number independently.

There is also a per-seat charge, which almost nobody else in this category has. Published figures disagree on the amount, so ask Semrush directly.

nBlick is $19 to $229 a month, all in, with no suite underneath and no per-seat fee.

To be fair: if you already pay for Semrush, your marginal cost is just the $99. That is a real advantage and you should weigh it.

Two modules, two different things

Most comparisons miss this. Semrush's AI tracking is really two products with different coverage and different refresh rates.

Global IndexCustom prompt tracking
What it isSemrush's own prompt database, shared by all customersPrompts you enter yourself
Size239M to 260M prompts25 prompts on the $99 tier
RefreshMonthlyDaily
EnginesAI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, GeminiChatGPT and AI Mode only
Citation detailDomain level onlyOnly your own pages
Filter branded vs non-brandedNoYes

Two things follow from that table.

The Global Index refreshes monthly. Citations in AI answers move a lot faster than that, so a monthly number tells you very little about what changed and why.

And on either module you cannot pull the specific third-party URLs where your competitors are cited. The Global Index shows domains only. Custom tracking shows only your own pages. If you want to know which Reddit thread or which review site is feeding the model, neither view gives it to you.

One more gap worth knowing: as of Peec's January 2026 testing, CSV and Looker Studio export worked across Semrush's traditional SEO tools but had not been built for the AI search module. No API endpoints for AI search either, and no MCP.

Where Semrush wins

These are real and we are not going to talk around them.

AdvantageWhy it matters
239M+ prompt databaseOnly Profound has anything at that scale. You get an instant baseline.
Zero setupYou can answer "are we visible at all" without configuring anything.
A full SEO suite underneath25B+ keywords, 43B+ backlinks, site audits, PPC and competitive research.
SOC 2 certifiedClears enterprise procurement. nBlick does not have it.
Since 2008Long track record, big review base, agency ecosystem, training everywhere.
Everything in one loginFrom an AI gap you are one click from content tools, backlinks and a site audit.

If you already run your SEO on Semrush and you sell inside their six regions, adding their AI view is the lowest-friction move available to you. That is a genuinely good reason to pick them.

Who should pick which

Pick Semrush if:

  • You already pay for Semrush and want AI visibility without adding a tool
  • You sell only in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Spain or India
  • You need one platform for both SEO and AI search
  • You need SOC 2 for procurement
  • You want a rough baseline fast, with no setup
  • You do not need to track Claude

Pick nBlick if:

  • You sell in Latin America or any Spanish-speaking market outside Spain
  • You want prompts built from your buyer profile instead of a shared database
  • You need Claude tracked
  • You want the content written in the same place you measure the gap
  • You want one price with no suite subscription and no per-seat charge
  • You want to start free with no expiry date

Use both if you need serious traditional SEO and serious AI visibility. Semrush for Google, nBlick for AI search. Plenty of teams will land there, and it is a sensible answer.

What results look like

Four articles generated with nBlick lifted total AI search visibility by 64% in 60 days. The breakdown is on LinkedIn.

AI search rewards new content faster than Google does. Frase reports first citations within one to two weeks and steady gains at three to four months.

One case study does not predict your result. Your industry, your existing authority and how often you publish all change the outcome.

Where nBlick falls short

  • We are not an SEO suite. No keyword research, no backlink analysis, no site audit, no PPC. Semrush does all of it and we do none of it. If you want one platform for both, that is a real argument for them.
  • No SOC 2. Semrush has it. If your buyer requires it, we are not an option yet.
  • No prompt volume database. Semrush has 239M+. We do not compete on that.
  • We are much smaller and younger, with fewer public reviews and no enterprise track record.
  • Narrower reach outside Spanish-language markets. That focus is deliberate, but it is still a limit.

FAQ

Does Semrush cover Latin America?

No. The AI Visibility Toolkit covers six regions: the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Spain and India. Spain is the only Spanish-speaking one. Mexico, Argentina, Colombia and Chile are not covered.

Does Semrush track Claude?

No, on any plan. nBlick tracks Claude on every paid plan, along with ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.

Is the Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit worth $99 a month?

It depends on what you already pay. The toolkit is an add-on to an SEO subscription, so a team buying both lands near $239 a month. If you already have Semrush, the extra $99 is a low-friction way to get an AI view. If you do not, nBlick starts at $19 with no suite required.

What is the difference between the Global Index and custom prompt tracking?

The Global Index is Semrush's shared prompt database. It refreshes monthly and shows citations at domain level. Custom prompt tracking uses prompts you enter, refreshes daily, and shows only your own pages. The $99 tier includes 25 custom prompts across engines.

Can I export Semrush AI visibility data?

Not as of Peec's January 2026 testing. CSV and Looker Studio export work for Semrush's traditional SEO tools but had not been built for the AI search module. There were no API endpoints for AI search and no MCP.

Does nBlick replace Semrush?

No. nBlick does not do keyword research, backlinks, site audits or PPC. If you need those, you still need an SEO platform. We are a specialist tool for AI search.

Should I use both?

Many teams will. Semrush for Google SEO, nBlick for AI search visibility and content. They solve different halves of the problem.

Does nBlick have a free plan?

Yes. It does not expire and needs no credit card. Start at platform.nblick.com/welcome.
