nBlick and Otterly AI both track how ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude talk about your brand. They stop at very different points.
Otterly measures. It tracks the prompts you give it, audits your site, and reports what it finds. It does that well and it has been doing it longer than we have.
nBlick works out which prompts matter based on who your buyer is, then writes the content to win them.
If you already know which prompts drive your pipeline and you have writers ready to act, Otterly is a solid choice. If you are not sure which prompts matter, or you have nobody to write the fix, that is the gap we built nBlick for.
What each tool does well
Otterly AI
- Named a Gartner Cool Vendor in 2025
- Bulk site audits: 1,000 to 10,000 URLs per month depending on plan. Very few tools do this at that scale
- Support for 50+ countries and languages
- Looker Studio connector and CSV exports, useful for client reporting
- API and MCP access from the Standard plan
- Turns your existing SEO keywords into related AI prompts, which helps if you are coming from traditional search
- Free plan available
- Sentiment analysis and historical tracking
nBlick
- Builds your prompts from your ideal customer profile instead of asking you to guess
- Writes the content in the same place you measure the gap
- Four engines on every paid plan: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude, with no extra charge per engine
- An agent that runs the whole loop: track, diagnose, fix
- Entry plan at $19 per month
- Free plan that does not expire
- Spanish interface and support, built for Spanish prompts
Both are real products. They are built for different jobs.
Pricing
Otterly AI
| Plan | Monthly | Annual |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 |
| Lite | $29 | $25/mo |
| Standard | $189 | $160/mo |
| Pro | $489 | Not published |
Lite tracks 15 prompts daily and includes unlimited team members. Standard tracks 100 prompts, with 100 more available for $99 per batch.
If you have seen different numbers for Otterly, that is because some reviews quote the annual price and some quote the monthly one. The gap between $25 and $29, or $160 and $189, is the annual discount. It is the same plan.
nBlick
| Plan | Price |
|---|---|
| Free | $0, does not expire |
| Studio | $19/mo |
| Growth | $229/mo |
| Enterprise | Custom |

One thing worth noticing on Otterly's ladder: the step from Lite to Standard is $29 to $189. That is more than six times the price. If 15 prompts a day stops being enough, there is no middle step.
The add-on cost most people miss
Otterly's Lite plan does not include every engine.
Siftly, in its July 2026 comparison, puts it plainly: "Claude, Gemini, AI Mode are paid add-ons on the Lite plan." Their own summary of Otterly's weaknesses says: "Full engine coverage requires paid add-ons on Lite."
So if you want to track ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini on the entry plan, you pay $29 plus add-ons. Otterly does not publish what those add-ons cost, and reviews report different figures, so ask before you sign up. We could not confirm whether Claude and Gemini are included on Standard or Pro, so ask about that too.
nBlick includes all four engines on every paid plan, starting at $19. There is no per-engine charge at any tier.
The prompt problem
This matters more than the price difference.
Otterly measures the prompts you give it. That sounds obvious, but think about what it means. If you choose the wrong prompts, Otterly will measure the wrong thing, and it will measure it accurately. You will get a clean report about questions your buyers never ask.
Hikoo's comparison from January 2026 lists this as a downside: "Prompt-centric approach: quality depends on choosing and maintaining the right prompt set."
Here is what that looks like in practice. Say you sell project management software. A finance director asks ChatGPT "project management tools with good approval workflows." A developer asks "best project management API." Both are real questions. Only one of them buys.
If you build your prompt list by hand, you will probably start with the questions you already know about. Those tend to be the ones your team talks about internally, not the ones your buyer types.
nBlick starts from the other end. It builds a profile of your ideal customer first, then works out the questions that person actually asks. You are not guessing which prompts to track. You are tracking the ones tied to revenue.
To be fair to Otterly: if your prompt list is already good, this is not a problem for you. Their measurement is solid. But if you are starting out, or you are not sure your list is right, Otterly hands that work back to you.
Can Otterly fix what it finds?
No, and that is on purpose.
Siftly is direct about it: "Otterly is a tracking and audit product." Their FAQ adds: "Can Otterly generate content once it finds a gap? No. Otterly tracks and audits. It does not generate content. You would need a separate tool."
Zapier tested more than 20 platforms in November 2025 and reached a similar conclusion about the advice layer: "there's no data-driven guidance in terms of actionable insights and trends." They also noted Otterly does not show you which AI crawlers reach your pages.
So the workflow with Otterly looks like this. You find out you are not cited for a question that matters. You brief a writer. The writer drafts it. Someone reviews it. You publish. You wait for the models to pick it up. Then you measure again.
Every step there is a place where the work stalls.
nBlick shortens that loop. You see the gap and you generate the page in the same session. The agent handles tracking, diagnosis and the content fix.
If you have writers with spare capacity, Otterly plus your existing process works fine. If you do not, the reporting piles up faster than anyone can act on it.
Where Otterly is the better tool
| Otterly AI | nBlick | |
|---|---|---|
| Gartner recognition | Cool Vendor 2025 | None |
| Bulk site audits | 1,000 to 10,000 URLs/month | Not offered |
| Countries and languages | 50+ | Narrower, focused on Spanish-speaking markets |
| Track record | Longer, more public reviews | Newer, fewer reviews |
| API and MCP access | From Standard | Varies by plan |
| Content generation | No | Yes, every paid plan |
| Prompt strategy | You build the list | Built from your buyer profile |
| Engines on entry plan | 3, others cost extra | 4, no extra charge |
| Entry price | $29/mo | $19/mo |
| Spanish interface and support | No | Yes |
Siftly, which competes with Otterly, still gives them the audit category outright: "Larger sites that need to audit thousands of URLs on a schedule will find more built-for-purpose tooling in Otterly."
We are not going to argue with that. If you run a large site and need to check thousands of pages every month, Otterly is built for that and we are not.
Neither of us has a prompt volume dataset. Only Profound does. And neither of us holds SOC 2 Type II certification, so if your buyer needs it, look at Profound or Semrush instead.
Who should pick which
Pick Otterly if:
- You need to audit thousands of URLs on a schedule
- Your prompt list is already good and you mainly need reliable tracking
- You need Gartner recognition to get past procurement
- You work across many countries and languages
- You build client reports in Looker Studio
- You want to turn an existing SEO keyword list into AI prompts
Pick nBlick if:
- You are not sure which prompts matter and want them built from your buyer profile
- You want to measure the gap and write the fix in one place
- You need Spanish interface and support
- You want four engines with no add-on charges
- You have a small team and nobody dedicated to AI search writing
- You want to start free and pay $19 when you are ready
What results look like
Four articles generated with nBlick lifted total AI search visibility by 64% in 60 days. The breakdown is on LinkedIn.
AI search moves faster than Google. Models re-cite sources in cycles of days, not months. Frase reports first citations of new content within one to two weeks, and steady improvement over three to four months.
But the numbers also bounce around a lot. Research published by Profound found that 40% to 60% of the domains cited by AI engines change from one month to the next for the same question:
- Google AI Overviews: 59.3%
- ChatGPT: 54.1%
- Microsoft Copilot: 53.4%
- Perplexity: 40.5%
Over six months that rises to 70% to 90%.
Two things follow from this. First, never show your boss a single day's number. Show a trend of at least 30 days. Second, measuring alone does not help much when the number moves that fast on its own. You need something to pull.
One case study does not predict your result. Your industry, your existing authority and how often you publish all change the outcome.
FAQ
Is Otterly AI cheaper than nBlick?
Not at the entry level. Otterly Lite is $29 a month and nBlick Studio is $19. Otterly's Lite plan also charges extra for Claude and Gemini, while nBlick includes four engines. Higher up the ladder Otterly Standard is $189 against nBlick Growth at $229, but nBlick includes content generation at that price.
Does Otterly AI generate content?
No. Siftly's July 2026 comparison states: "Otterly is a tracking and audit product." It measures and audits. You write the content somewhere else.
Does Otterly AI track Claude and Gemini?
On the Lite plan they are paid add-ons, not included. Whether they come with Standard or Pro is not clearly published, so ask Otterly directly before you buy.
What is Otterly AI best for?
Auditing large sites at scale and tracking a prompt list you already trust. If you know which questions matter and just need reliable measurement across many countries, it does that job well.
Can I use Otterly AI and nBlick together?
Yes, and some teams do. Otterly for bulk site audits, nBlick for prompt strategy and content. They overlap on tracking but solve different halves of the problem.
Which is better for a small marketing team?
Usually nBlick, because a small team feels the content gap hardest. You get a cheaper entry price, four engines, and the writing built in. But if that small team runs a site with thousands of pages, Otterly's audits may matter more.
Does nBlick have a free plan?
Yes. It does not expire and needs no credit card. It includes weekly tracking with a limited set of prompts and models. Start at platform.nblick.com/welcome.
How long before I see results in AI search?
Frase reports first citations within one to two weeks and steady gains at three to four months. Because citations move 40% to 60% month to month, consistency matters more than any single spike.
The short version
Otterly AI is a good measurement product with real recognition behind it and audit capacity we do not match. If measurement is the job, it does the job.
nBlick is built for the part that comes after. It works out which prompts matter based on who buys from you, then writes the content to win them, starting at $19 a month.
Pick based on what is actually blocking you. If you cannot see your visibility, either tool helps. If you can see it and cannot move it, only one of them does anything about that.
Prices in this category change often. Check current rates with both vendors before you decide.
